NV GENERIC COCKPIT SYSTEM

NV GENERIC COCKPIT SYSTEM

A configurable cockpit platform developed for simulation projects that require a purpose-built physical environment rather than a specific aircraft cockpit.

NewVision Digital can adapt the structure, controls, displays, electronics and interfaces around the requirements of the simulation system.

SYSTEM APPROACH

START WITH THE REQUIREMENT

Not every simulator needs to reproduce an existing cockpit.

NV Generic provides a flexible physical platform that can be developed around the functions, controls and interactions required by the project.

Instead of adapting the simulation to a fixed cockpit layout, the cockpit itself can be designed around the system.

COCKPIT DESIGN

DESIGNED AROUND THE USER

The cockpit layout begins with the way the user needs to interact with the simulator.

Controls, displays, panels, seating and physical interfaces can be positioned around the operational and ergonomic requirements of the project.

NewVision Digital develops the mechanical structure together with the electronic and software requirements so the cockpit works as one complete environment.

CUSTOM CONTROLS & PANELS

BUILD ONLY WHAT THE SYSTEM NEEDS

NV Generic is not limited by an existing aircraft layout.

The platform can incorporate purpose-built panels, switches, buttons, control devices and interfaces according to the functionality required by the simulator.

This makes it suitable for systems where flexibility is more important than reproducing one specific cockpit.

ELECTRONICS & I/O

CONNECTING THE PHYSICAL SYSTEM

Every physical control needs a reliable connection to the simulation environment.

NewVision Digital develops and integrates the electronics, controllers and I/O architecture required to connect switches, controls, sensors and other physical interfaces with the simulator software.

The electronic architecture is developed as part of the cockpit rather than added after the mechanical system is complete.

SOFTWARE INTEGRATION

FROM PHYSICAL INPUT TO DIGITAL RESPONSE

The cockpit and simulation software are designed to work together.

NewVision Digital integrates the physical controls and electronic interfaces with the required simulation platform, allowing inputs, system states and external systems to communicate through one coordinated architecture.

Where required, the platform can also be connected to existing software environments.

XR / MIXED REALITY

A PHYSICAL PLATFORM FOR VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS

NV Generic can be combined with XR and Mixed Reality systems to create an immersive simulator without requiring a large conventional visual installation.

The physical cockpit provides the controls and interaction points, while the surrounding environment can be generated digitally.

This allows the visual environment to change while the user continues to interact with real hardware.

VISUAL SYSTEMS

CHOOSE THE ENVIRONMENT AROUND THE COCKPIT

The platform can be integrated with different visual-system configurations according to the requirements of the project.

These may include conventional displays, curved-screen environments or XR-based systems.

The visual system is developed around the cockpit, available space and intended simulation experience.

MODULAR PLATFORM

DEVELOPED TO CHANGE WITH THE PROJECT

Simulation requirements can evolve over time.

The NV Generic platform is intended to provide a flexible foundation that can be modified as controls, software, visual systems or project requirements change.

This makes the cockpit suitable both for new simulator developments and for projects that require a configurable physical platform around existing systems.

ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING

FROM CAD TO COMPLETE SYSTEM

NewVision Digital carries out mechanical design, manufacturing, electronics and system integration through its in-house team.

Keeping these disciplines together allows the cockpit structure, controls and electronics to be developed as parts of the same system.

It also gives the project flexibility during development, installation and future modification.

APPLICATIONS

ONE PLATFORM DIFFERENT SIMULATION REQUIREMENTS

NV Generic can be developed around a wide range of simulator concepts where a configurable physical cockpit or operator station is required.

The final configuration is defined by the controls, interfaces, software, visual environment and physical constraints of the project.

Rather than starting with a predefined cockpit, we start with what the simulator needs to do.

LET’S BUILD THE COCKPIT AROUND YOUR SYSTEM

Tell us what needs to be simulated, which controls and interfaces are required, and what systems already exist

NewVision Digital can develop the physical cockpit, electronics and integration around those requirements
